My family and I went to a seafood restaurant by the seaside. It's quite famous, I heard. The food is quite ok, at an affordable price. However, personally, I think that this place will suit anyone with not-so-strong taste. The dishes are neither salty nor excessive-MSG-added. Thus, it offers homely yet tasty food. To add to its credit, the serving size of the food is adequate, neither too big or too small.

The restaurant is located by the sea. So, while enjoying the meals, the customers actually have a chance to enjoy the beautiful sea view too.
Vegetables
Fried Squid
Fried Tofu
This is the "Jiu Pai ToFu". For this dish, different restaurants might serve it differently. Some would prepare it in terms of fried tofu in which the tofu is a mixture of some vegetables and tofu itself, while the others might have them lightly fried with some minced meat on top. This restaurant served the first type of tofu and the texture of the tofu is quite smooth with some carrot slices in it.
Curry Fish Head
This dish is very appetizing with its little sour and spicy taste.
Steamed Prawn with Egg
The prawns are fresh. When being steamed, its freshness is totally brought out. However, like I mentioned before, this dish also comes with light flavour. So, don't expect you will be served something very rich and strong in taste, which to me, I would use the word "salty".

This time, we went to a Balinese Restaurant located in Puchong named Bumbu Bali. The place was pretty nicely decorated and gave me a real good feel of dining there. The food offered was nicely arranged and the propotion served was quite big, at least for me. :P

Yummy @ Eden Hotel
I had my first Hi-Tea buffet on Dec 11, 2005 at Eden Hotel, Johore Bahru which is located in the area of Duty-Free Zone in Johore. I wasn't sure how much the buffet was priced at, but the food still tasted and looked OK to me. I also didn't remember the name of the Cafe. I apologized for the lack of information I was having. Regarding the food there, I particularly like the cakes being served there. Though i still think Secret Recipe has more tasty cakes, but those in Eden Hotel were still nice to swallow. :P

The Appetizer ~
This was the appetizer we ordered that day. It consisted of 3 pieces of spring rolls, 3 pieces of money bags, 3 pieces of prawn wantons and 3 pieces of fish cakes. I love them all, especially the prawn wantons. Yummy~
The Main Course ~
My friends ordered the pineapple fried rice.
The tomyam seafood tasted quite nice.
The fried glass noodle, tasted so-so, but the noodles are quite special, flatter than the one we used to see and eat normally.
The green curry I ordered! It tasted not bad I would say.
